GML And Geo-Spatial Web Services
Conference 2005

July 18th - July 22nd, Vancouver, British Columbia

Overview

The Geo-Web is the World Wide Web of Geographic Information (GI). In the Geo-Web, geographic databases and data processing services are interconnected in controlled, open, communities enabling organizations and individuals to make better decisions and to share information in real time with other members of their community. This real time interconnectivity leverages the power of GML and web service technology.

The GML Days and Web Services 2005 provides a broad public forum for developers to discuss GML and GML-based web services, to learn from one another and to foster the further development of the Geo-Web. This is the perfect opportunity to meet GML and web services experts from around the globe, and to share development ideas and implementation experiences. Whether you are new to the field or an acknowledged expert - this is the chance to learn and share your knowledge - a chance to move the whole world of internet GIS and GI web services into the future - a real chance to make a difference!

GML and OGC Web Services courses are available both at introductory and advanced levels to meet the requirements of all the conference attendees. There will also be an Exhibition showcasing organizations that are utilizing GML web services technology.
