Leslie Armstrong
Leslie Armstrong is Deputy Staff Director for the Federal Geographic Data Committee, a consortium of 19 federal agencies and many more stakeholders from other government, private and commercial entities. As the Deputy Staff Director, Leslie is responsible for geospatial data standards and enterprise architecture development , training, policy, performance and coordination of infrastructure components such as clearinghouse, Geospatial One-Stop and The National Map.
Prior to this position, Leslie managed the GIS Program for the National Park Service for over ten years. She came to the National Park Service in 1991 from the Defense Mapping Agency, where she worked for ten years with Latin America mapping programs and as a technical manager the agency's modernization program
